We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Bar Assistant who will also support the bar service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in hospitality, has strong communication skills, and is able to provide excellent service to ensure a memorable guest experience.

The Bar Assistant supports the smooth daily operation of the bar, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and product presentation. The role involves assisting bartenders and supervisors in delivering a welcoming and efficient service to all guests.

What will you do?

• Assist in the preparation and serving of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, including wiping surfaces, washing glassware, and restocking supplies.
• Support bartenders by ensuring ingredients, garnishes, and equipment are readily available.
• Collect empty glasses and dishes, keeping the bar and tables tidy at all times.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Handle customer requests politely and efficiently, escalating any issues to the supervisor.
• Assist in setting up and closing down the bar before and after service.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
• Uphold company standards and contribute to a positive team environment.

What do we look for?

• Previous experience in hospitality or bar work is desirable but not essential.
• Casual contract with the possibility of becoming permanent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the UK (18+).
