We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Barback to join our bar team. As a Barback, you will support the bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked, clean, and organised, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the shift. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, anticipate the needs of the team, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation behind the bar.

What will you do?

• Keep the bar fully stocked and service ready during shifts (beer, spirits, wines, softs, garnishes).

• Glass wash & glassware management: wash, polish, restock, and keep stations clear.

• Support bartenders with prep (garnishes, juices, syrups, ice, fruit, spec prep as required).

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation behind the bar and BOH (wipe downs, bins, spill control).

• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and store correctly.

• Refill and manage ice wells, fridges, and speed rails throughout service.

• Assist with opening/closing duties and end of night breakdown.

• Flag breakages, or equipment issues to the shift lead/manager quickly.

• Help keep the floor safe: clear hazards, mop spills, keep walkways tidy, toilet checks.

What do we look for?

• Experience in hospitality preferred (barback / runner / KP / busy bar), but not essential if you’re keen and reliable.

• Able to work evenings and weekends (peak trade).

• Physically able to lift/move stock (kegs/cases) and stay on your feet for long shifts.

• Strong timekeeping and a “get it done” attitude.

• Good communication and teamwork.

• Right to work in the UK.

• Basic understanding of cleanliness and safety standards (training provided).
